The Working Assembly of Governmental Employees (WAGE) is a unique coalition of independent public employee associations and unions from across the United States.
Founded with the core philosophy of promoting independence and autonomy, WAGE serves as a coordinating body that empowers its member organizations to make decisions in their best interest, free from the influence of national labor unions.

That's why WAGE serves as a coordinating body, not a governing body. We respect the autonomy of our member organizations, regardless of whether they operate in a right-to-work state or are responsible for collective bargaining, and we never interfere with the internal affairs of our member organizations.

With a commitment to regular engagement, WAGE hosts monthly Zoom meetings as well as semi-annual assemblies at various locations around the U.S., ensuring accessibility and participation from members nationwide.
