At WAGE (Working Assembly of Governmental Employees), we pride ourselves on offering a platform that fosters collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and support among independent public employee organizations. But don't just take our word for it. Read what our members have to say about the value of being part of the WAGE community.

We are a small independent Union, representing approximately 500 employees of the Sacramento Municipal Utility District. Our WAGE membership offers us the opportunity to keep abreast of national trends relevant to public employees. One of the most valuable aspects is the network of contacts we’ve developed. We wholeheartedly encourage your participation.

The WAGE Conference last December provided the networking and inspiration to help us take a giant step forward. WAGE re-motivated us during a time when a new court administration was treating employees unfairly. We now have almost finalized our by-laws, our web page will be up soon, and our numbers continue to grow. That is all because of WAGE.

With WAGE, we’re not just part of an organization; we’re part of a movement. The empowerment and support we receive from WAGE enable us to make a meaningful impact in the lives of public employees across Virginia. It’s an incredible feeling.

When the city management was looking to make cutbacks, we were able to negotiate and soften the hit to our members. This was possible with the networking with other WAGE members and the training sessions at the workshops. It has helped CCEA bridge the gap with management and create a working relationship.

WAGE isn’t just a great networking partner; it’s a valuable resource for education including conflict resolution and negotiation training.
