The Working Assembly of Governmental Employees (WAGE) is pleased to accept applications for the Penny C. Rasmussen Scholarships. Designed to empower members and their families in pursuit of higher education, WAGE will award two, $500 scholarships to support academic achievement and professional growth.

The Penny C. Rasmussen Scholarships are available to members or first-degree dependents of member organizations in good standing with WAGE. Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications by the deadline of June 1, 2024.

To be eligible, applicants must provide two written references from non-family members, their most recent official school transcripts, and a compelling one-page essay explaining why the scholarship holds significance for them.

The selection committee evaluates applications holistically, considering factors such as character, leadership qualities, service to others, financial need, scholastic ability, and initiative.
