WAGE Announces New Executive Leadership to Guide Future Growth

Reno, NV — The Working Assembly of Governmental Employees (WAGE) is excited to announce significant changes to its executive board, as voted on during the Spring Assembly in Dallas in March. These changes mark a pivotal moment in WAGE’s history, aiming to further empower and unify independent public employee organizations across the United States.

DeAndre Caruthers of the Las Vegas City Employees' Association will step into the role of President, bringing fresh perspectives and dynamic leadership to the forefront of WAGE. His appointment reflects WAGE's commitment to innovative leadership and advocacy for public employees.

Ron Lira will continue his role as Secretary, maintaining continuity and stability within the executive team. His ongoing leadership is vital as WAGE continues to grow and adapt to the evolving needs of its members.

Additionally, former President Marshall Terry of the Virginia Governmental Employees Association will now serve as Member At Large, continuing his dedication to WAGE in a new capacity that leverages his extensive experience in public service.

These leadership appointments mark a significant step in WAGE’s ongoing commitment to the effective representation and support of public employees nationwide. Each brings diverse experiences and perspectives critical to driving the organization forward in fulfilling its mission.
