At the Working Assembly of Governmental Employees (WAGE), we believe in the transformative power of education. That's why we are thrilled to announce the opening of applications for the Penny C. Rasmussen Scholarships for 2024.

Designed to empower both members and the first-degree dependents of WAGE-affiliated organizations, these scholarships serve as a beacon of opportunity for those pursuing higher education. With a commitment to fostering growth and development, WAGE aims to support individuals in their academic and professional endeavors.

Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply by June 1, 2024, to be considered for these awards. Applications are open to members or their first-degree dependents from organizations in good standing with WAGE.

The selection process will consider various factors, including character, leadership qualities, service to others, financial need, scholastic ability, and initiative. Scholarship recipients will be chosen based on their demonstrated potential to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.

To apply, candidates must submit an application form available on the WAGE website, along with two written references from non-family members, their most recent official school transcript(s), and a compelling one-page essay detailing why the scholarship is significant to them.
